Introduction

The Apportunix Productivity Package extension for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central adds a variety of new features that help you work more efficiently and regain valuable time, among others by helping you prevent errors instead of having to fix them later on.

The features of Apportunix Productivity Package are categorized per functional area:

• Admin - Better enables you to manage and distinguish configurations for your Business Central environments through:
  • Extension Uninstallation Log - Find out when extensions were uninstalled ánd which user accounts are responsible for the uninstallation of extensions.
  • Environment Badges - Configure the style and text of badges per environment type, environment subtype, environment and company from a single setup page for all your environments and companies.
  • Advanced Job Queue Telemetry - Get alerted about failing job queue entries and job queue entries exceeding your processing time thresholds.
  • Environment Setup - Configure the actions to take when environments are copied, e.g., clearing or changing values to use the configurations of a test API instead of the production API.

  • Disallow Empty Primary Key for Master Tables - Ensure that creating records with an empty primary key in a master table is disallowed.
  • History Protection - Configure additional rules for the deletion of master table records.
  • General Business Posting Group Control - Configure different default General Business Posting Groups for assembly, production and transfer orders and different types of item journals.
  • Replace Posting/Document/VAT Date - Automatically replace the posting/document date with the work date upon posting documents.
  • Last Ledger Entry Date - Get direct insight into the last ledger entry posting of master table records.
  • Receive/Ship Only in User Setup - Assign users that are only allowed to ship/receive, but not invoice.
  • Report: "Costs to Invoice / Invoices to Receive" - Get an overview of the cost price to be invoiced and/or invoices to be received.
