Receive/Ship Only in User Setup

The Receive/Ship Only in User Setup feature will enable you to limit users so they can only receive on purchase orders and ship on sales and service orders. The user will not get the popup when posting in order to choose Receive, Invoice or Receive and Invoice. Instead when a user posts an order this will directly receive/ship the quantities set to be received/shipped.

You can configure which users are only allowed to receive/ship by using the following new settings on the User Setup page:

Sales Ship Only - Specifies if the user is only be able to ship sales orders.
Service Ship Only - Specifies if the user is only be able to ship service orders.
Purchase Receive Only - Specifies if the user is only be able to receive purchase orders.

Activating these settings will suppress the dialog where users would normally choose which action to take:
